Install

  1. Download SnipeBid.zip and unzip it (Windows: right-click → Extract All; Mac: double-click).
  2. Put the SnipeBid folder somewhere it can stay, for example in Documents. Chrome loads SnipeBid from this folder, so don't delete or move it later.
  3. Open chrome://extensions (paste it into the address bar) and turn on Developer mode in the top right corner.
  4. Click Load unpacked and select the SnipeBid folder (the one that contains manifest.json).
  5. Pin it: click the puzzle icon in Chrome's toolbar and pin SnipeBid.
  6. Open the Ultimate Team Web App, log in as usual, paste your license key in the SnipeBid panel and open Transfers once. The status pill turns green and you're ready.

Update

When a new version is out, the SnipeBid panel shows Update available. Your license, settings, targets and filters are kept.

  1. Stop the bot, then click Download in the panel (or download here) and unzip it.
  2. Replace the old folder: move the new SnipeBid folder to where the old one is (e.g. Documents) and choose Replace.Windows: Replace the files in the destination. Mac: Replace, not Keep both.
  3. Click Reload SnipeBid in the panel. SnipeBid restarts and the web app reloads with the new version. (Or press ⟳ on SnipeBid in chrome://extensions and refresh the web app.)

Keep the same folder location. If you load a copy from a different folder, Chrome treats it as a new extension: just activate your key again and your cloud settings load back in.

Troubleshooting

“Manifest file is missing or unreadable”
You selected the wrong folder. Pick the folder that directly contains manifest.json. After unzipping on Windows it can be one level deeper (SnipeBid\SnipeBid).
Chrome shows “Disable developer mode extensions”
That's normal for extensions not installed from the store. Close the message; SnipeBid keeps working.
The panel says “The extension was updated”
The tab is still running the old version. Click Reload page.
Update installed but the version didn't change
The files probably went into a different folder (e.g. SnipeBid 2). Delete that copy, replace the original folder and press ⟳ on SnipeBid in chrome://extensions.
Asked for my license key again
Chrome sees a new extension because it was loaded from another folder. Activate your key once; settings, targets and filters load from your account.
