Phone alerts (Discord)
Buys, sales and warnings on your phone, through a Discord channel of your own.
SnipeBid can post buys, sales and warnings to a Discord channel of your own. With the Discord app on your phone, they arrive as push notifications, so you know what the bot is doing while you’re away from the computer. The settings are in Settings → Phone alerts (Discord). Alerts need an active license.
Create a Discord webhook
A webhook is a private address that lets SnipeBid post into one channel. You need a Discord server where you can manage settings; a new private server just for yourself works well.
- In Discord, open your server’s Server Settings → Integrations → Webhooks.
- Click New Webhook. Optionally rename it (for example “SnipeBid”) and pick the channel it posts to.
- Click Copy Webhook URL. It starts with
https://discord.com/api/webhooks/.
Connect it to SnipeBid
- Open Settings (⚙) in the panel and scroll to Phone alerts (Discord).
- Paste the webhook URL and press Save (or Enter).
- Press Send test. A 🔔 SnipeBid alerts are working message should appear in your channel.
- Switch on the alerts you want (see below).
Once saved, the row shows a shortened version of the URL and the time of the last alert sent. Paste a new URL to replace it, or press Remove to turn alerts off.
Which alerts you get

Busy moments are grouped so your phone doesn’t buzz non-stop: at most 3 messages every 30 seconds, and several buys or sales at once come as one message with a list.
The daily summary is counted in the browser that trades. If SnipeBid isn’t open at midnight, it is sent the next time you open the web app.
Privacy
- The webhook URL stays in this browser. It is not saved to your SnipeBid account, not included when you copy settings, and not in error reports. On another browser or computer, paste it again.
- Messages are relayed through SnipeBid’s server to Discord, so the extension needs no extra permissions. The server only passes the message on; it never logs or stores your webhook URL.
- Your license key is never sent. Your EA account name only when Include EA account name is on.
If alerts don’t arrive
- That is not a Discord webhook URL: copy the whole URL from Discord again (Copy Webhook URL).
- Discord deleted this webhook, paste a new one.: the webhook was removed in Discord. Create a new one and paste it.
- Needs an active SnipeBid license: activate or renew your license.
- Failed alerts are also written to the Log as Phone alert not sent — …. Messages that failed because the server couldn’t be reached are tried again once.
- Nothing on the phone but the test shows in Discord? Check the channel’s notification settings in the Discord app.
