Getting started
The SnipeBid panel
The floating panel is where you start and stop SnipeBid, pick a mode and see what it is doing.
The SnipeBid panel floats over the web app. It is drawn in its own isolated layer, so the web app’s styles don’t affect it. From top to bottom: the header, the controls, the stats strip, the tabs and the tab content.
Opening, minimizing and moving
- Before you log in the panel stays minimized: only a round SnipeBid button shows, so it never covers EA’s login screen. It opens by itself once SnipeBid sees your web app session. Click the round button to open it earlier.
- Minimize with the – button in the header. The round button comes back. While the bot runs, its dot pulses and a small badge counts your buys.
- Toolbar icon: clicking the SnipeBid icon in Chrome’s toolbar switches to the web app tab and shows or hides the panel. With no web app tab open, it opens the web app.
- Move the panel by dragging its header.
- Resize it by dragging the grip in the bottom-right corner. Double-click the grip to go back to the default size.
The panel remembers whether it was open, its position, its size and the last tab, and keeps itself fully on screen when the window gets smaller.
The status pill
Under the SnipeBid name, a small pill tells you what is going on.

| connected · ready (green dot) | Session found. You can activate your key and press Start. |
| What the bot is doing (pulsing dot) | While running, for example searching Mbappé, scanning auctions · …, checking bids, waiting on bids, bid slots full, coins tied up in bids or nothing to do. |
| break 3:12 (amber) | A short or long break. See breaks and pauses. |
| limit 12:40 (amber) | Your hourly search limit is reached. It resumes on its own. |
| reconnecting · gives up in 9:30 (amber) | EA said the session expired. SnipeBid is waiting for it to work again. |
| cooldown 14:55 (red) | EA pushed back (rate limit or temporary market lock). SnipeBid sends nothing until it ends. |
| stopped: … (red) | The bot stopped by itself, with the reason. For example spend limit reached or daily search cap reached. |
Start, Stop and modes
The big button starts and stops the bot. Above it, pick a mode:

| 🎯 Snipe | Searches for Buy Now listings at or under your snipe price and buys them. See Sniper. |
| 🔨 Bid | Places late bids on auctions about to end. See Bidder. |
| ⚡ Both | Each target alternates between a Buy Now search and an auction scan. Auction scans also grab any Buy Now steal they spot. |
Start needs three things: a web app session, at least one enabled target or filter, and an active license. If one is missing, a message tells you which.
When you press Stop, anything already bought is still listed (unless EA just put you in a cooldown). Open bids stay open: wins are handled when you open Transfer Targets, on the next Start, or with ⟳ Check watchlist in the Bids tab (see Won items).
The stats strip

| Profit | Projected profit this session: listing price after EA’s 5% tax minus what you paid, for everything listed. |
| Bought | Cards bought this session (snipes and auction wins). |
| Open bids | Auctions you are currently bidding on. |
| Searches | Transfer market searches this session. |
Below the strip, a thin bar shows today’s searches against your daily limit. While running you see the run time and requests per minute; when stopped you see searches/limit today and coins spent today. Today’s counts include every browser where your EA account runs SnipeBid.
Breaks and pauses
When the bot is waiting, a ring counts down the time left:
- ☕ Taking a break: a short or long break to keep your pattern human. You can press Skip.
- 🛡️ EA cooldown: EA pushed back. SnipeBid waits it out. It can’t be skipped.
- ⏳ Hourly limit: your max searches per hour is reached. It resumes as soon as a slot frees up.
- 🔌 Reconnecting to EA: the session expired. Reload the web app if it asks you to log in.

Sections
Below the stats strip the panel has four sections. Trade has three sub-tabs.

Start here
The first time you open the panel with no targets and no filters, Trade › Targets shows a four-step checklist: pick a starting setup, add 3–5 targets, check your limits, press Start. Each step ticks itself off. Hide removes it; Settings › Account › Start here checklist brings it back.
Snipes, auction wins and errors also pop up as short messages at the bottom of the panel, and a short chime plays on each buy (turn it off with Sound on snipe).
Banners
- Activate SnipeBid / Your free trial has ended / Your subscription has ended: until a license is active, the panel shows only the key screen. See License, trial & billing.
- Update available / Update required: for manual installs. See Updates.
- The extension was updated…: this tab still runs the old version. Press Reload page.
- Paused while we fix an EA change…: one or more features are switched off for a short while. They come back by themselves. See Troubleshooting.
- How do you want to play?: shown once on a fresh start, with the starting setups.
